Facilities/Catering Assistant [Ireland]


 

Role Overview

As Facilities Assistant, and part of the Operations team, you will be an ambassador of a one team approach within Operations, ensuring that all the office facilities kitchens, dining areas and meeting rooms are maintained to a high standard.

The Role

Providing high quality user experiences by ensuring a clean and welcoming environment you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining all nine meeting rooms within the firm ensuring that they are always clean and tidy and ready for the next meeting.
  • Undertake regular meeting room checks (at least daily and after any meeting), replenish water and drinking glasses ensuring meeting space is consistently provided to the highest standard.
  • Ordering in food and beverages as required for meetings or events.
  • Ensuring beverages and refreshments available for all meeting rooms.
  • Maintaining the four employee kitchen areas throughout the day ensuring they are clean and tidy. Filling and emptying dishwashers as necessary.
  • Ensuring that the three employee dining areas are clean and tidy.
  • You ensure all issues are logged and ensure remedial actions are completed proactively.
  • You will own the appearance of these meeting spaces and conduct scheduled quality inspections to assess office appearance and conditions.
  • You maintain and manage catering storage areas.
  • You provide general support by supervising and escorting catering suppliers and contract related visitors, where applicable.
  • Undertake all other duties & tasks as reasonably requested by your line manager.
  • Contributes feedback to continually improve employee experience.

The ideal candidate will be client focused, self-motivated, proactive and show great initiative to contribute to keeping the keep the offices running smoothly.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English language
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Display proactive day-to-day problem solving, with ownership and pride
  • Possess a level of IT literacy
  • A basic understanding of good health & safety practices engages in Health & Safety culture
  • A highly motivated individual, with excellent use of initiative and demonstrates a strong passion for service excellence
  • Experience within a Service environment
