As an Executive Chef, you will report directly to the Hotel Manager and will:
- Provide the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success. Your passion for service is contagious and you are a natural coach who loves to build effective teams and motivate individuals to be their best.
- Create rare intimate experiences and an oasis of culture. You are a passionate connoisseur of your craft, keen to interact directly with guests, exchange knowledge and share creative processes. You enjoy creating menus that are relevant and appealing to the local market with a strong focus on authenticity.
- Build lasting rapport with key business partners. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers, and other market and industry sources.
- Deliver our brand promises by creating rare and intimate experiences. You will be a front-line Brand Ambassador dedicated to delivering refined, enriching and sophisticated experiences.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Food and Beverage and Culinary team to follow through on corporate strategies and capitalize on our global resources.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to create meaningful product-driven promotions relevant to demand and the local market.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are currently in a leadership role as an Executive Chef in ‘Grand’ level hotels, preferably in Northeast Asia (Korea, Japan and China.)
- Strong business partner and strategic thinker with the capacity of developing people-strategies to support operations and business objectives.
- Proven ability as an effective and caring leader, fostering a culture where people are empowered to be their best.
- Thoughtful, curious and able to create meaningful moments through active listening, empathy and the careful anticipation of needs.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and experience.
- Sound knowledge of culinary financial management, aiming to consistently deliver high-quality products at the best available price.
- Detailed knowledge of HACCP/ ISO 22000.
