We're on the hunt for a top notch English Writer to work with a leading institution in Doha.
About the Role
Responsible for drafting and editing high quality English content for marketing campaigns, emailers, event collaterals and branding, brochures, website material, and other initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
- Developing English content for all marketing collaterals including brochures, flyers and publications.
- Develop English content for event collaterals and branding including backdrops, speeches, signages, etc…
- Developing English content for the website including Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability, developing content for new website projects, proofreading biographies and career opportunities, etc..
- Assisting with editing and reviewing strategic correspondences and letters
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Reviewing content in design and across collateral
- Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar.
- A minimum of five years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
- Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
- Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
