CIC Manager - Configuration, Issue and Change Management
Start Date: ASAP - Negotiable
Contract Length: 7 Months + Extension
Location: Schiphol, NL. Hybrid, 36 H per week.
Pay: €60H - €75 Hour
Required language: Both Dutch and English (minimum B2 level in speech and writing)
I am working with a leading Aviation group that is looking for an experienced CIC Manager to join their team in Schiphol on an initial 6-month contract.
Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project as soon as possible, however, we can accommodate a reasonable notice period.
Purpose of the role:
Supporting and advising on various projects as a Project Management Consultant with a focus on Configuration, Issue and Change Management (CIC). As a CIC Manager you are responsible for a clear project baseline during the project, inventorying and monitoring issues and changes and managing the issue register within the project. You advise the project team and take care of the decision-making on deviations in the project. You are also responsible for monitoring the risk and change budget of the project. You also contribute to project products such as the Project Initiation Documentation, Stage Plans, End Stage Reports and progress reports.
As a Configuration, Issue, Change Manager (CIC Manager) you are part of an integral PMO team on several projects at the Schiphol Projects department.
Goals
Project management, focus on Configuration, Issue and Change management
Responsible for implementing and executing the issue and change process within the projects.
This implies:
- Registering and monitoring issues and changes in the issue register, retrieving the impact, issuing advice and ensuring decision-making at the right level;
- In coordination with Project Control and Risk Manager, monitor and report on the spending of the risk and change budget;
- Monthly reporting per project on issues and changes;
- Implementation and coordination of configuration management, including ensuring a clear project baseline and checking an up-to-date project file in SharePoint;
- Advice on the configuration, issue and change process to Project Managers and project stakeholders;
- Provide project managers with solicited and unsolicited advice on the successful management and management of the project;
- Collaborate at departmental level with other CIC Managers to guarantee uniformity of the discipline.
Requirements:
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level;
- At least 5 years of work experience, of which at least 3 years of relevant experience in working within project / program organizations in a PMO team, for example in the role of Consultant Project Management / All-round PMO. A strong advantage is if this experience has been gained in construction and/or technical installation programs and/or projects;
- Knowledge of Prince2 (minimum Prince2 Foundation certificate) and preferably experience working in a Prince2 project environment;
- Knowledge of P3O is an advantage;
- Knowledge and experience with SharePoint and MS Office, especially Excel.
