Job Description
As a Director of IT and Data Analytics (E-commerce), you will be responsible for:
- Driving the implementation of omnichannel eCommerce strategy and technology.
- Fostering business growth by expanding into an ecosystem model.
- Collaborating with business teams to integrate with other ecosystems within and outside the industry.
Strategy:
- Develop company's digital and technology strategy, vision, and roadmap for eCommerce, mobile app, data analytics, and corporate functions.
- Stay updated with technology standards, trends, and promote new technologies internally.
eCommerce:
- Lead omni-channel eCommerce platform development and enhancement.
- Establish information security and business continuity plans.
- Implement tools for Internet marketing, SEO, and monitor credit extensions.
- Build and manage teams for product development, web operations, data analytics, and IT support.
Project Management:
- Apply program management methodology for timely and within-budget technical solutions.
- Govern programs, report status, and manage risks cross-functionally.
Data Analytics:
- Build and manage a data analytics team for informed decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 10 years of experience in architecting and deploying eCommerce applications in the retail industry.
- Proven track record in managing external vendors for eCommerce and enterprise IT solutions.
- Proficiency in web-based and portal deployments, as well as custom 3rd party interfaces.
- Experience in Agile development projects and IT Change Management
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Expertise in Magento.
- Strong project management skills and experience in third-party management.
- Ability to drive technical innovation aligned with business goals.
- Ideally, experience in a start-up or near start-up environment, with a hands-on approach to work while also possessing senior executive/leadership experience.
