Your day to day:
2nd Line Operations of IP service and IP Security in a multi-vendor environment.
Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality and continuity of service and the restoring time for Service Applications in IP Networks (automatic configuration and provisioning systems, DNS, DHCP, NTP etc.)
In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Perform data configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:- In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of IP Services
- Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network. Take corrective measures based on performance management and indicators trend analysis
- Assure planned work activities, network rollout, software upgrades and parameter changes in IP network ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities
- Assure Service Level Agreements and Service-KPIs with involved internal and external partners
- Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- You are responsible for creating technical instructions for 1st level support and independently carry out the 2nd level support for IP service applications in the network area of Vodafone (focus on automatic configuration and provisioning systems, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- You define and track service level agreements and service KPIs for the services you are responsible for and monitor compliance with them.
- You react proactively to quality restrictions and identify optimization measures to avoid incidents.
- You are responsible for the implementation of service request fulfillment tasks and accompany rollouts of new systems, services and software. You actively work on the automation and digitization strategy in TO through programming/scripting (e.g. Ansible or Python).
- Team working oriented, English and German (spoken and written)
- University degree: faculty of Electronics , Telecommunications and Information Technology
- 1-3 years of experience in IP Services as DNS , DHCP, NTP Operations and Maintenance activities
- 1-3 years of experience in Linux OS and Database operations (security patching…)
- 1 year experience in scripting and automation
